Allen Maxwell Fisher BACKSHALL was born on 16th November 1912 in Normanville, Yankallila, South Australia

His parents were Frederick BACKSHALL and Jane ADAMS

Allen married Dulcie Meryl PAVY (date unknown)

He enlisted on 23rd February, 1940 with the Australian Army - His posting at discharge on 26th September 1945 was a Driver with the 2/6 Field Ambulance

He died on 13th August, 1995 late of Woodville West, SA and is buried in Enfield Memorial Park (Cremation) Rose Garden Memorial Site
