On night of 20/21st April 1944 left base to bomb marshalling yards at La Chappelle France and never returned to base
It was established that their aircraft was hit by flack and crashed at Le Blanc Mesnil with crew lost. They are buried at Clichy Northern Cemetery on the northern boundary of Paris
There is a monument in Le Blanc Mesnil dedicated to the crew.
