Note: Corporal Ashe's body was never recovered and is therefore regarded as missing, presumed killed in action.
"...33706 Corporal (Cpl) John Berkley Ashe, 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (2RAR). A resident of Edithvale, Vic, prior to enlistment, Cpl Ashe commenced service in Korea on 17 March 1953. Cpl Ashe was assumed missing, presumed killed in action on or after 28 May 1953, aged 23.
