Pilot Officer Donald Neil ROBERTSON, O32536, was born on 26 June 1929 in Melbourne. He was residing in Ivanhoe, and achieved his leaving certificate in 1946. His civilian employment was listed as Industrial Radiographer in Maribyrnong when he Enlisted in RAAF as Trainee Pilot on 23 Feb 1948. Prior to enlistment he also served two years in the Air Training Corp. He graduated from the RAAF College with Sword of Honour on 12 Dec 1951 and was posted to 77 Squadron Korea 6 Apr 1952 and MIA believed killed on 15 May 1952 aged 23.

On 15 May 1952, PLTOFF Robertson was part of a four meteor aircraft formation tasked to conduct attacks on enemy supply lines at Masan Ni (now called Chunghi-dong) , five miles South East of Sariwon. At 1630, the attack was commenced and at 3000ft PLTOFF Robertson fired his rockets prematurely, his aircraft was seen to veer sharply to the right and impact with the ground. The aircraft exploded on contact with the ground. PLTOFF Robertson was not seen to eject and is unlikely to have survived the crash.
