BEMROSE.—December 5th, 1943. QX3019 Sgt. Richard Bemrose. killed in action in New Guinea.
Little did we know when we woke
that morn,
What sorrow the day would bring,
Little did we know that with night's fall
We would feel death's merciless sting.
Your end was so sudden, dear Richard.
You made us weep & sigh.
But, oh, the saddest part of all.
You never said good-bye.
Inserted by his loving Mother. Father, Brothers, & sisters.
BEMROSE.—In loving memory of my
dear Brother Dick. QX3019, late of 2/32 9th Div.. killed at Finschhafen. Decemer 5th, 1943.
A silent thought brings many a tear
Of one we miss & loved so dear.
For we who loved him truly know
How much we lost one year ago.
