Douglas Walter Westlake BULL was born in Hobart, Tasmania on 5th May, 1921
His parents were Victor Westlake BULL & Ada Winifred WOODLAND who married in Victoria in 1919
He married Joyce BOOTHROYD in Victoria in 1942
He served in the Army (58th Infantry Battalion) before leaving to join the RAAF - he embarked from Sydney on 24th August, 1942 for the United Kingdom
Douglas died in Montrose in Scotland on 27th April, 1943 in a collision during a training mission

His father Victor Westlake BULL (SN 3036) served during WW1 with the 2nd Australian Auxiliary Hospital and was discharged on 18th June 1919
His wife Joyce served in the WRANS (no further information)
