Robert James COSGROVE was born in Hobart in Tasmania on 13th April, 1915
His parents were Robert COSGROVE & Gertrude GEAPPEN who married in St Marys Catholic Cathedral in Hobart on 10th January, 1911

Flight Lieutenant Cosgrove 39456 RAF was killed in the loss of 50SQN RAF Hampden I L4065 which failed to return from a mine laying mission in the Great Belt area in the North Sea off Denmark - other crew: Corporal J Doran, Sergeant G W Everatt, Sergeant F W Batchelor
