Rex Valentine DONOWA was born in Bankstown, Sydney on 18th April, 1923
His parents were Valentine Crawford DONOWA & Maisie TAYLOR
He first enlisted in the Australian Army on 15th October, 1941 with the 116 Reserve Motor Transport Co and was discharged on 8th October, 1942 - he re-enlisted in the RAAF on 9th October, 1942
Rex died in a Flying Battle in Belgium in a Lancaster D715 Bomber and is buried in the Schoonselhof Cemetery in Belgium
His last rank was Flight Sergeant with the No. 12 Squadron (RAF)
