Percy Walter Ellis EYRE was born in Sydney on 12th February, 1920

His parents were Walter George EYRE & Lillie KING

Percy was Killed in Action at El Alamein on 23rd October, 1942 and is buried in the El Alamein War Cemetery

Inscription on his headstone reads:

"ALWAYS REMEMBERED BY THOSE WHO LOVED HIM"

His brother Frederick George Theodore EYRE (SN NX193483 & (SN N17147) served in the Army during WW2 and was discharged in 1946
