"TRANQUIL YOU LIE, YOUR KNIGHTLY VIRTUE PROVED"
Mr. and Mts. Foggon received many messages of sympathy from the north during the week after the sad news reached them that the fonner's son, A.D.S. Foggon, QX 14786, better known to intimates as "Sandy."' had died of wounds in New Guinea in the middle of last month.
Sandy who received some of his education in Charters Towers, had also served in the Middle East. Mr. and Mrs. Foggon, for a couple of years, made their home in the old mining town, but are now living in Brisbane.
