Word has been received here that NX58001 Sergeant Keith Leopold Spencer Glasgow, eldest son of Mr Carl F S Glasgow, of Hensley Hall, Bellevue Hill, Sydney, was killed in action in New Guinea on 17th October.
Sergeant Glasgow, who was aged about 35, was born Narandera, his parents being residents of the town at that time. After returning from the Middle East with the 9th Division, he went to New Guinea.
Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, one brother, Roy, and four sisters, Jean (Mrs Harry Hilder), Barbara (Mrs Guy Manton), Betty and Patricia.
He was a nephew of Mr William Glasgow, Acting Deputy Town Clerk, Narandera.
