Mrs. Joan Huggett, of Thornhill street, Young, has received the following information from the Secretary of the Casualty Section of the Department of Air: "Advice has been received that, according to captured German documents, your husband's aircraft crashed 11 kilometres north east of Eisenach, on the main railway between Leipzig and Frankfort in Central-Southern Germany, and that Sergeant Noske and two un-identified members are buried in the Eisenach Cemetery.
The report adds that the aircraft exploded in mid-air with the full bomb complement still on board. "I regret having to convey these distressing details to you, but it is hoped you will obtain comfort from the knowledge that your husband's death was almost certainly instantaneous.
"Enquiries will be made by the Missing, Research and Enquiry Service to ascertain if the remains of the rest of the crew are also buried at Eisenach, and you may rest assured that you will be informed if further information is received."
The above is the first authentic news that Flight-Sergeant Huggett was killed, but his wife had given up hope some months ago of ever seeing her husband again. General sympathy will be extended to the bereaved wife and to deceased's brother, Mr. A. E. Huggett, of McLerie-street, Young.
