Son of Norman McLaren Jenkins and Olive Allendale Jenkins of Coburg, Victoria

Flight Sergeant Edward Warren Cosh 409086 (Pilot) and Flight Sergeant Norman Lloyd Jenkins 409712 (Observer) were both killed instantly when Vultee Vengeance A27-73 of Number 23 Squadron crashed at South Lowood in Queensland - the A-35A aircraft was last seen in a 60 degree high speed dive at 400 feet before impact. All fabric on the elevators were seen to be torn off.
