Son of Charles Osborne Kinross and Maggie Kinross of Essendon, Victoria

At the time of enlistment he was residing at 4 Salmon Avenue, Essendon, Victoria and was employed by Perpetual Executives of Queen Street, Melbourne

Had studied accountancy. Prior to enlisting he served in the Reserve from 20 November 1940

Plane he was flying at the time of his death was Spitfire PL 206. He had also trained in Tiger Moths and Harvards
