Son of Charles and Catherine Dora Kitchin, of Kadina, South Australia.

Stoker Clayton Peter Kitchin, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kitchin, of Kadina, was hit by shrapnel during the Sydney's Mediterranean  engagements, and was in hospital for seven weeks. In 1938 He joined the navy from Wyalkatchem (W.A.), from where his father was transferred to  Kadina last June. His younger brother David joined an overseas freighter from Fremantle about six months ago and has since been reported
missing through enemy action.

Stoker Clayton Peter Kitchin war a son of Mr. and Mrs. Kitchin, of Kadina. Mr Kitchin, who is branch manager of the National Bank, arrived from  Western Australia earlier this year.
