Births Sep 1873   Knox John George Tynemouth 10b 226.

He married in Gateshead 25.03.1896, Ellen Wardle.
 

He enlisted in Australia on 18th August 1914 at the age of 41 in the 1st Light Horse Field Ambulance, Service Number 93 and was Mentioned in Despatches  [London Gazette 14th June 1918] 

He served at Gallipoli and in Egypt in WWI and although past retirement age , enlisted for war service in WWII in the Australian Army Service Corps under Service Number V84759.
