Benjamin David Parry
Born on 04 Jul 1907 in Rhondda Wales to parents David and Gwenllian Parry.
Ben was married to Joan of Nedlands.
Ben enlisted on 06 Dec 1940 at Claremont in Perth and held the rank of Private in the 2/48 Australian Infantry Battalion.
He was killed in action in Egypt and is buried at the El Alamein War Cemetery in Egypt Grave ref XV1 F 20

Biography
"...WX9830 Private Bejamin David Parry of Cannington, WA . Pte Parry enlisted on 6 December 1940 and served with 2/48 Battalion: Australia's most decorated unit of the Second World War. The 2/48th fought at Tobruk and El Alamein. Pte Parry, aged 35, was killed in action around Tel el Eisa during the intense fighting of 22 July 1942." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
