Third son of Henry and Amy ROLLEY of Wondecla.

He worked for Jack and Newell's Store in Herberton until the war broke out.

David joined the Royal Australian Navy and was stationed on HMAS Sydney.  He was still serving his country on the Sydney when that ship was sunk on 19th November 1941.

There were no survivors.
