OBITUARY
It is with very sincere regret that we have to report the sad news received by Mrs. Lorna Sharp of Windsor on Tuesday, that her husband, Private Clarence Noel Sharp, A.I.F. was killed in action on October 28. A young man of sterling character, "Clarrie" had many friends in the town and district who will join us in offering our deepest sympathy to his young wife in her bereavement. At a meeting of the Windsor Council on tuesday evening, Alderman Gosper drew attention to this news of the first Windsor resident killed in action, and asked whether the condolence of the council would be forwarded. The Mayor (Alderman Gillespie) replying that this would certainly be done.
