Son of George and Lelia Florence Shea; husband of Alma Clarice Shea of North Fitzroy, Victoria

Prior to enlisting he had served a 2 years apprenticeship with N.L. Rigg of South Melbourne and 3 years with Miller Bros of Essendon

Flight was Non operational from UK to Ottawa, Canada
