Biography contributed by Graham Prior

423203 Flt Sgt John Lockrey had signed Frank's autograph book. Frank had inscribed the front page of his own book "When your days of life are over/ And life's pathway you have trod/ May your name be ever written in the autograph of God" perhaps an appropriate epitaph for them both.

Francis Smith Place, Kempsey is named for him.
