Richard Belvedere TABER was born in Barmedman in NSW on 17th December, 1915
His parents were Henry Edward Lewis TABER & Millicent Elizabeth WRIGHT who married in Sydney in 1913
He married Maidie Evelyn SHEIL in 1944 - registered in West Wyalong
He had previously served in the B Company of the 56th Infantry Battalion before enlisting in the 2/4th Infantry Battalion
Richard died of wounds in New Guinea on 10th May, 1945
