Wilfred Topp
Wilfred was the son of Bill Topp and Isabella Dinsdale. His birth was reg'd in 1919 but he gave his birthdate as 23 Feb 1918 when he enlisted. This was on 26 May 1936 (V48923), so gave his age as 18y 3m. He was single and give his trade as hairdresser (business address 418 Bridge St Richmond. His address was 11 May Street, Kew. He married Marie Isobel COLLISON in 1939. She married Robert Alan STEWART in 1946 (8332) after Wilfred's death. He re-enlisted age 24y 2m ofdn 25 Apr 1942, married with 2 children. His address was 23 Bromley St Prahran. This changed to 91 Connelly St Coburg on 31 Jan 1945.
