HIS DUTY NOBLY DONE...REST IN PEACE

WEIER.—In loving memory of our dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle, Sgt. George Weier, killed to action at Balik Papan on 3rd July, 1945, after 5  years' active service with the A.I.F.
Aged 26 years 6 months.
Although his voice is silent,
And his smile we see no more;
In our hearts his memory lingers
Just as fondly as before.
(Always remembered by Chas., Martha, Dulcie, Beatrice, Desmond, Clarence, and Vera.

WEIER (QX7387).—In fond and loving memory of our dear son and brother, Sgt. George Walter Weier, who was killed in action at Balik Papan on 3rd  July, 1945.
We need no special day
To bring you to our minds;
The days we do not think of you
Are very hard to find.
If we had only one wish to wish,
Only one prayer to pray,
Our wish and our prayers would be
dear George,
That you could be with us at
home to-day.
(Inserted by his mother, brothers, and sisters.)

WEIER.—In loving memory of our dear brother, brother-in-law, and uncle, QX7387 Sgt. (George), 2/31 Inf. Batt., A.I.F., who was killed in action in Balik Papan, Borneo, on 3rd July, 1945. Aged 26 years and 6 months
Lost to view of those who knew him,
Gone to reach a further shore;
But ne'er forget by those who loved him
Till we hold him close once more.
His life is a beautiful memory,
His passing a silent grief;
He sleeps in God's beautiful garden,
In sunshine and perfect peace.
(Inserted by his loving sister, brother-in-law, Hilda and Otto, and family, Alan and Coral Hahn.)

WEIER.—In sad and loving memory of our dear brother and uncle, Sgt. George Walter Weier, QX7387, 7th Division, A.I.F., who was killed in action at  Balik Papan on 3rd July, 1945.
He was not spared to share the peace
Of a country he helped to save;
But we remember him as a hero,
And cherish the life he gave.
When evening shades are falling,
And we're sitting all alone,
In our hearts there comes a longing—
If you could only come home.
(Inserted by his sorrowing sister, Ann, brother-in-law, Jim, and family.)
