GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN
On Thursday last the sad news was received in Gilgandra of the death of Private Herbert ("Peter") Weston, a member of the A.I.F. in the Middle East.
The late gallant lad was a native of Gilgandra, being a son of Mr. H. J. Weston, of Orange, and formerly of Dubbo and Gilgandra. Fate has indeed been unkind to the Weston family, for of three sons to enlist, two have paid the supreme sacrifice and the other is missing in Malaya. Some months back news was received of the death in the Middle East of Sergeant Cecil Weston. Private Frank Weston is in Malaya.
Deceased is survived by his wife (nee Miss Dulcie Bonnington, of Curban), and to her and members of the family deepest sympathy is extended.
