Son of Robert Ellerslie Young and Delsie Myrtle Young of Moss Vale, NSW

 

RAAF Wirraway aircraft A20-650 of Number 2 Operational Training Unit had a collision in mid-air during a line astern chase - Sergeant Young was the only fatality.  The pilot of A20-175 was able to land his aircraft - Sergeant Read 443570
