Son of William and Mary Alice Morrice of 'Murranumbla', Dalgety, NSW. Brother of Glen Heriot Morrice who was killed in action on 1 September 1918 while serving with the 53rd Battalion, Alice L. Morrice and Marjorie E. Morrice
SIGNALLER W. J. MORRICE.
Signaller William John Morrice, of the 3rd Battalion, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles, was a pupil of the Monaro Grammar School, Cooma, and sergeant in the senior cadets. He was 19 years of age. In St. Paul's Anglican Church yesterday Archdeacon Ward referred to his death in his sermon. The deceased was a son of Mr. William Morrice, grazier, of Maranumbla Station, in the Dalgety district, and was very popular among his associates.
