Son of Frederic and Hannah Belle Cobb, of Winton, Queensland.

Frederick Pierce (Snowy) Cobb was killed in action on 2nd February. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Cobb, of Frensham, Winton, and a brother of the late Capt. W. Cobb, M.C. and bar, who was killed a few months ago in the Middle East. F. P. Cobb was an original volunteer in the 26th Battalion, in which he attained the rank of lieutenant. Later  he transferred to a commando unit.
