THE LATE PRIVATE J. J. SHEEDY.

Private James J. Sheedy, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles, was the youngest son of Mrs. M. Sheedy, widow, of Virginia. He was 35 years of age, and was educated at the public school at Virginia. He was a member of the local football and cricket clubs, and was for some time secretary of the Virginia branch of the U.L.U. Mr. Sheedy was a member of the Two Wells Light Horse, and when war broke out he was among the first to volunteer as a member of the famous 10th Battalion.
