This N.C.O laid low in his cover ?? the enemy infantry moved to within 15 yards of him and then ?? bombs ??? and with that deadly effect. On exhausting the immediate supply of bombs in his ?? post he moved to other ?? around the firing line and carried on the same excellent work with all the bombs available. He was shot in the head and rather badly wounded whilst throwing bombs.' | |
