10 Oct 1917: | Honoured Military Medal, For conspicuously good work and leadership during operations near Zonnebeke on morning of 26th September 1917. When a Forward Party of signallers and runners had become partly disorganised through heavy enemy shelling, 2nd Corporal CORKER took charge, reorganised the party and quickly succeeded in opening communication.
