Son of Henry Treloar and Matilda Catherine Treloar nee Scown of Blythe, SA. Next of kin given as his brother Josiah Stephen Treloar of Munddora, SA. Also brother os Samuel Henry Treloar, Amelia Catherine Treloar, John Thomas Treloar, William Joseph Treloar, Jonathon Edward Treloar, Selina Jane Treloar, Susan Grace Treloar, Lucinda Treloar, Havelock James Treloar and Mary Beatrice Treloar

On 26 July 1930 Alfred married Emily Ada Haines in the Methodist Parsonage, Lefevre Terrace, North Adelaide, SA

Returned to Australia on 4 May 1917 on board HS Runic having served with the 32nd Battalion
