Next of kin given as his wife Mary Malina Oates nee Jones of Elliott Street,  Hawthorn, Brisbane, QLD. Albert and Mary married during 1902c in Victoria.

Commenced return to Australia on 25 March 1919 aboard HT Port Denison disembarking on 10 May 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane
