Pete Rogers. Grandson.
My Grandfather suffered Shell Shock. He was told he may not walk or talk again. He married in England and they had a son. He returned to Melbourne and lived in Elwood. Where their second son was born. He then joined the Tramways became a conductor, then an inspector. He lost his first son in the Second World War he was a Gunner. To me my Grandfather was and is the Greatest Man I have had in my life. He was a Hero. I still miss him and the Stories that he never shared. Pete Rogers.
