Add my storyBiography contributed by Faithe Jones
Edward's parents were William James Pritchard and Sarah Jane Littlefield. Edward attended Mt Pleasant, and with his brothers was among the first children to attend. The Pritchard family was pioneers of Mt Pleasant. Edward was a stretcher bearer and was wounded in Belgium, he returned to Australia in 1917. His brothers Joseph Henry [521] and William John [58000] also enlisted, with all three brothers returning home. Edward's surname is Pritchard on his birth certificate and on his war record but Upritchard on the war memorials.
