4 Jul 1918: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 7801, 15th Infantry Battalion, Le Hamel - Blueprint for Victory, While fighting at Le Hamel, Pvt. McBryde received a shrapnel wound to the abdomen. He was evacuated and transferred to a field hospital, but died of his wounds.
