'ROCKHAMPTON SOLDIER DEAD.

ROCKHAMPTON, Sunday.
News has been received in Rockhampton to-day by his parents, that their eldest.son, Lance-corporal Henry Hanson, who was wounded at the Dardanelles, three weeks ago, had since died. Lance-corporal Hansen enlisted at Rockhampton, and left for Egypt at the end of last year as a member of the 2nd Australian Contingent. He was attached to the 15th battalion. Up to June 25, or two months after landing, he had not received a scratch.' from Daily Standard 6 Sep 1915 (nla.gov.au)
