Son of William Arthur and Esther Allen, of 35, Quested Buildings, Brett Rd., Hackney, London, England. Born at Kingston-on-Thames.

Brother of  John Arthur Allen killed in action 2 May 1915.

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

Also served in Queen's Westminsters, both Volunteers and Territorial Force, British Army.
