Son of John Alfred Olsson and Johanna Olssen nee Carlsen of 'Mullett Creek', Bundaberg, QLD
Commenced return to Australia on 21 December 1917 aboard HT Persic disembarking on 12 February 1918 at Melbourne then transhippied aboard HT Ormonde to Sydney then overland to Brisbane.
