Harry Osborne HILL was born in Ballarat in Victoria in 1880
His parents were Benjamin Hewitt HILL & Mary Ellen PURNELL who married in Victoria in 1873
He married Mary Elizabeth GOODLET in Victoria in 1902 - 4 known children, Harry, Florence, Marie & Edith
His brother Lieutenant Ernest Purnell HILL (SN 717) served during WW1 in the 14th Infantry Battalion and was awarded a Military Medal and also served in the Army during WW2 (SN V30001)
His son Harry HILL (SN V362312) served in the Army during WW2 and also in the RAAF (SN 257607)
