21 Aug 1915:	Embarked Private, 2728, 15th Infantry Battalion, HMAT Kyarra, Melbourne
23 Oct 1915:	Involvement AIF WW1, Private, 2728, 15th Infantry Battalion, Arrived at Lemnos, to Cairo
17 Mar 1916:	Transferred Private, 47th Infantry Battalion, Transferred to the 47th Infantry Battalion, then to the 110th Howitzer Brigade as a gunner.
25 Jan 1917:	Transferred Private, 10th Field Artillery Brigade , Part of Howitzer Brigade as a gunner.
29 Sep 1917:	Wounded Private, 2728, 10th Field Artillery Brigade , Merris (France), Received shrapnel wounds to the face and leg, evacuated to London for surgery. Returned in December 1917.
14 Oct 1917:	Promoted AIF WW1, Bombardier, 10th Field Artillery Brigade , Promoted to temporary Bombardier then made permanent in January 1918
18 Sep 1918:	Promoted Corporal, 10th Field Artillery Brigade , Promoted to Corporal then Sergeant in the same day- seemed to be acting Corporal for some time before.
18 Sep 1918:	Promoted Sergeant, 10th Field Artillery Brigade , Promoted to Sergeant.
