'Private DOOHAN, with two wounded comrades, was discovered by a Canadian patrol in 'No Man's Land' between the south west corner of MOUQUET FARM and point 94 during the night of 12th/13th September, 1916. All three men had been out there since 3rd September, 1916, a period of 9 days. Private DOOHAN had looked after the two wounded men, and during the hours of darkness foraged bully beef etc. from dead bodies lying in shell holes in the vicinity.
