Son of Robert Charles James Leggatt Willshire and Amelia (nee Phillips) Willshire of 8 Fisher Terrace, West Adelaide SA; later of Aberdeen, Burra, SA. Brother of Percival Reginald Willshire, Robert Charles Willshire, Clyde Willshire returned to Australia on 2 January 1919 having served in the 12th Battallion, Clarence Roy Willshire, Melville Vivian Willshire plus two others who lived less than a day.
Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal
