Biography

"THE LATE PRIVATE R. PERRY.

Mrs. E. L. Perry has been notified that her husband, Private R. Perry, was killed in action on August 16. Private Perry, prior to enlisting, worked with his father on the dairy farm at North Norwood. He joined the colors in November, and left in March. He was born at Crystal Brook, and was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends, who deeply regret his death." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 07 Oct 1916 (nla.gov.au)
