Reginald Henry (Rex) Dabb was born in Murtoa to William Dabb and Lillian Jane Weiss (VIC Bth 1896, No. 5609). His younger brother, Frederick William Dabb was also born in Murtoa (4 Jun 1898, VIC Bth 1898, No. 20976). At the time of Rex's death, his father had a drapery business in Camperdown.
