3rd Bn., H CompanyAustralian Infantry, A.I.F.- Died Between 07/08/1915 and 12/08/1915.

He was 36 and the son of John and Mary Lavelle (nee McGowan). He left Ireland at the age of 22 years and went to England. Worked for the Prudential Assurance Co for 10 years. He was the youngest of three boys. His father died before he was born and his mother remarried to become Mrs Egan.
