Vivian also served in WW2 under the name of Walter Vovil.
Son of Edward Vovil and Mary Jane Vovil nee Skeer of Laurieton, Camden Haven, NSW.
Brother of Edward John Vovil who was killed in action on 20 September 1917 and has no known grave his name appears on Panel 17 of Menin Gate, Ypres.
Commenced return to Australia on 9 March 1919 aboard HT Kashmir disembarking on 23 April 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.
