"...3082 Private George Derome, 19th (later 4th) Battalion of Granville, NSW. A brickmaker prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Suevic (A29) on 20 December 1915. On 4 October 1917, he was wounded in action at Broodseinde Ridge, Belgium. Pte Derome died of his wounds on 6 October 1917 at the 10th Casualty Clearing Station, Belgium, aged 25. He is buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
