5th Brigade  Australian Field Artillery

He was 33 and the son of Elizabeth Currie Proudfoot Gray, of 50, Rosabelle St., Kirkcaldy, and the late James Gray. He is one of some 20 Australian casualties of the Great War who are commemorated on the Kirkcaldy War Memorial.
