Son of Robert Cartright Ogden and Mary Ann Ogden of Parramatta, NSW.
Husband of Elizabeth Ogden nee Bryen of Harris Street, Parramatta, NSW. George and Elizabeth married during 1911c in Parramatta.
Commenced return to Australia on 10 March 1918 aboard HT Dunbar Castle. On 19 April 1918 George re-embarked HT Orontes at Cape Town disembarking at Sydney on 13 May 1918.
